How we coach
A few years ago when we first founded Enoch Initiative, we got together and discussed if this program should exist at all, or if it would do enough good in the world to warrant it’s creation. As a result of those discussions, we decided on some core tenants of our coaching program and philosophy that we share with you here. These are the principles which guide our coaches and help them understand how to help people grow from whereever they’re at to whereever they want to be.
People must be ready to receive help
Maslow’s Hierachy of Needs states that people must have certain basic needs met, before they can even consider higher needs. In the bible the phrase “milk before meat” is used. The principle is the same: People must be ready to accept the help we offer.
We don't directly serve immediate needs.
An old parable goes, “Give a man to fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, and you feed him for a lifetime.” There are hundreds of organizations already giving food, clothing, water,etc -fishes. We focus our efforts on teaching. We do, however, partner with many organizations to ensure that people’s immediate needs are met, as they strive to make a better life for themselves.
Fishing is great but does it actually help?
To take the last parable one step further: What if that person doesn’t live by water? Fishing becomes a useless skill. There are already hundreds of organizations that teach people skills. We focus on teaching skills that help people achieve their goals, in their region of the world, with their circumstances, relating to things they actually want to do.
Everyone starts with our Life Skills Course
As we built out our program, we recognized that there were some life skills that were true and needed no matter who you are or where you live! There are certain aspects of physical, emotional, spiritual health that apply to ALL of us regardless of life circumstances. For this reason, we start everyone -including coaches- in our Life Principles Course.
This course is going to help you develop the habits and the skills and the characteristics that you need to be successful in life. No matter where you’re at, this course will help you level up.

Availability
Our team of coaches is growing around the world. New applicants for coaching are accepted based on the availability of coaches in the program. Priority is given to those who wish to become coaches in the program. To learn more about that, click here.
